Irene Iborra Rizo, with a degree in Physics, specialized in audiovisual arts with master’s degrees in screenwriting for film and TV, and in stop motion direction and animation. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked as a screenwriter, director, and stop motion animator, with award-winning works featured at international festivals. On television, she created the children’s series Cuentos Celestes and has written for various productions on Televisió de Catalunya. She co-authored the children’s book series Los 7 cavernícolas and founded the studio Citoplasmas Stop Motion. For the past 12 years, she has taught screenwriting at BAU University. Olivia and the Invisible Earthquake is her first feature film, which she wrote, directed, and produced.
