The International Animation Festival of Alcoi — ANIMALCOI has opened the call for entries for its International Animation Short Film Competition, as part of the upcoming edition taking place from November 18 to 22, 2026.
The competition includes three categories:
- ANIMALCOI-Solitium Award for Best International Short Film (€1,500)
- Fundación Mutua Levante Award for Best National Short Film (€1,500)
- AITEX Schools Award for Best Student Short Film (€1,000)
Eligible films must have been produced between January 1, 2025 and July 15, 2026, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes (10 minutes for student films).
The submission period runs from March 30 to July 15, 2026 (11:59 PM) and entries must be submitted via FilmFreeway:
